NAVIGATION
The Main Menu/Class Schedule is the core of the entire program. From here, you have four choices: Style, Oceanic Tribes, the Science and Other Stuff.
At any time, you may navigate to other areas of the program by positioning the cursor on the wave icon (in the bottom right corner of the screen) and holding down the mouse button. Using this navigation menu, you can go back to the previous screens; exit from the program; access the Options screen; or view the CD credits.
The Options screen is perhaps the most useful choice on the navigation menu. From this screen you can access all other areas of the program.
We recommend that you use the Main Menu and sub-menus the first time you surf through the CD. This way you can experience the full impact of the CD design. Later, you can use the Options screen to go directly to your favorite spots.
III. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

2. Open the folder named "place contents to System Folder".

IV. KNOWN ERRORS AND WORKAROUNDS
Problem:
When you position the cursor on the wave icon (in the bottom right corner of the screen) and hold down the left mouse button, the navigation menu does not display completely.
Solution:

OPTIMIZING YOUR SYSTEM
If you experience problems with the CD, we recommend that you try the following:
CD-ROM Handling
CD-ROMs are durable, but not indestructible. If you encounter problems, check for scratches on both sides of the disc. Scratches can make a disc useless, especially if any of the silver coating is chipped. Scratches can also cause read failures.
To clean your disc, wipe the shiny side with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Don't wipe around the disk (like you would a record). Rather, wipe from the center out to the edge. Repeat until the entire disc is clean.
Disable Unnecessary Extensions
Load only the extensions that are necessary to run the CD.
1. Hold down the spacebar while the machine is booting up. This will open up the Extensions Manager panel.
2. Click on Sets.
3. Select All Off.
4. Select Custom.
5. Enable only the following extensions in the list:
a. Apple CD
b. QuickTime
c. Sound Manager 3.0
d. Foreign File Access
6. Click on Sets.
7. Click on Save Set.
8. Name your set.
9. Continue with booting up by closing the panel.
By saving the set, you will be able to use it again the next time you want to run this configuration. The set name will appear in the Sets list. This new set becomes the default when you boot up. You must enable the other extensions in Extensions Manager to restore your normal settings.
Memory
Fine tune the memory settings to improve performance.
Lower the RAM Cache Size:
1. Open the System Folder then open Control Panels.
2. Select Memory.
3. Set the Cache Size to 32k.
Disable Virtual Memory:
1. Open Control Panels.
2. Select Memory.
3. Make sure that Virtual Memory is set to Off.
Disable RAM Disk:
1. Open Control Panels.
2. Select Memory
3. Make sure that RAM Disk is set to Off.
Disable Modern Memory Manager (PowerMac users only):
1. Open Control Panels.
2. Select Memory
3. Make sure that Modern Memory Manager is set to Off.
If All Else Fails
